Description
Tonight Saturn is the main attraction, plus the Orion Nebula, the Pleiades, and other winter sky sights. We have a replica of Galileo's telescope on the Deck for people to look through as well.
No reservation is required -- just show up!
Why not arrive earlier and take in the special presentation of The Tonight Show in the Discovery Dome theatre, an hour-long live night sky planetarium show at 7:30 pm. Admission $5 per person. Stargazing on the Deck follows, weather permitting, but The Tonight Show goes ahead cloudy or clear. Limited engagement! Ends in April.
Where
Dress warm as the telescopes are outside. An adjacent Classroom provides a place to warm up and to take in astronomy videos and informal talks.
