Description
Weather permitting, during the daytime view the Sun through telescopes on TELUS World of Science's rooftop observatory deck. Included with regular admission to the science centre.
Offered during the Teacher's Convention/Family Day long weekend, Thursday, Feb 11 + Friday, Feb 12 + Monday, Feb. 15, 12 noon to 3 pm each day — IF skies are clear.
Dress warm as the telescopes are outside. An adjacent Classroom provides a place to warm up.
However, during winter, Solar Stargazing is cancelled if temperatures are below -20° C, even if skies are clear.
